      Grades 5-8 Thrift shopping is enjoying a surge in popularity as more celebrities hit secondhand shops and upcycling becomes an eco-chic buzzword. Yet being a successful thrift shopper requires more than just luck, and this manual offers the ins and outs of digging up hidden treasures and scoring the best bargains. An introduction to the types of thrift shops is offered as well as a litany of reasons that thrift shopping is a worthwhile hobby. General guidelines for what to watch out for, especially when shopping for clothes, are explained in detail.
